Shipping policy

Only Ooty ships fresh bakes, Nilgiri estate tea and homemade chocolate from Ooty to addresses across India. This policy covers dispatch, delivery times, charges, and what we do if something goes wrong with your parcel.

Where we ship

  • We deliver to most PIN codes in India through ST Courier / Professional Courier.
  • We do not currently ship outside India.
  • If our courier cannot deliver to your PIN code, we will contact you within 1 to 3 business days of your order and refund it in full.

Order processing and dispatch

We pack and dispatch orders within 2 business days of payment.

  • Varkey and biscuits are sourced fresh for your order, so bake orders are dispatched on Monday to Thursday to avoid parcels sitting in transit over the weekend.
  • We do not dispatch on Sundays or public holidays.
  • During festive seasons and sale periods, dispatch may take additional business days.
  • You will receive an order confirmation by email or SMS as soon as your order is placed.

Delivery times

Most orders arrive within 2–7 business days of dispatch, depending on where you live.

Shipping charges

Flat shipping charge of 99 rupees for all orders, and free shipping over 999 order value.

Address changes, failed deliveries and returned parcels

Please check your address, PIN code and phone number before placing your order.

  • Address changes: contact us before your order is dispatched and we will update it. We cannot change the address once the parcel is with the courier.
  • Delivery attempts: the courier will attempt delivery upto 2-3 times and may call the phone number on your order.
  • Returned parcels: if a parcel comes back to us because of a wrong address or because nobody was available, we will contact you. 
  • Perishable items: bakes and chocolate from a returned parcel cannot be re-sent or refunded, as they may no longer be fresh.
